The Ex Racers Club is the first and only national non profit
organisation to offer support and advise to the ex ace horse owner and
to organise classes, clinics, parades all over the country. Each year
they hold their own Ex Race Horse only championship show and now for the
first time they are holding another championship show at Blair Horse
trials in Scotland. The show is supported by RoR in way of a trophy for
this event. RoR are the "British Horseracing's official
charity for the welfare of former racehorses." Fantastic prizes from
Baileys horse feeds and Mountain horse are also up for grabs. Schedules
will be ready soon.
The Ex Racers Club also holds classes all over the country from grass
routes level to county shows. Take a look at their website to read more
and find a class/show in your area.
The Ex Racers Club are also sponsoring a race at Newbury on the 12th
April 2008 in memory of Sian O'Gorman who was a well loved area
representative of Berkshire for the club.. A parade will also be taking
place by the clubs ex race horses on the day too. Prizes will be awarded
by Bob Champion. A grand day out for everyone. |
